Control Point 1

Access From Dollard 1.6 km west on Hwy #13 then south on Whitemud grid for 15.3 kms to speed curve going east, travel 1.4 kms to speed curve south and follow grid to Frenchman Valley for 7.1 kms access is just south of the bridge east side of road (gate) follow for 300 meters then turns north to river. From Shaunavon travel 23.6 kms south to White Valley Church Rd then 9.7 kms west then 4.1 kms south to the French River Valley to CP-1. Go through the gate facing SE and slowly travel on trail till you get to the marker. Work Area Not a very good site steep cut banks. Would require about 60 meters of hose. The river meanders a lot. Point of deployment is about 50 meters upstream from CP-01 marker. Comments Keep all the gates closed please. Contact land owner each year. Trail to control point is native prairie grass and a POTENTIAL FIRE HAZARD. Contact land owner out of courtesy prior to entry.
